Agreement to these terms

By visiting or using NyaSis (https://nyasis.com) you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Using the site

NyaSis publishes plain-language explanations of Supreme Court of India judgments. Signed-in readers can like and comment. Anyone can read the opening of an article. Signing in with Google is free and unlocks the full text. You may use the site only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms.

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time.

Articles explain judgments. It is not legal advice. Do not rely on an article instead of reading the judgment it links to or asking a lawyer. We take care to quote judgments accurately, but an explanation can still be wrong or out of date.

Signing in and your account

You sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping it secure. Tell us at once if you think someone has used it without your permission.

Comments and your content

You keep ownership of what you write. When you post a comment, you give NyaSis a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store and display it on the site for as long as it stays there. You confirm that you have the right to post it and that it follows these terms.

Comments are public and appear with your Google name and profile picture. You can delete your own comments at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Post anything unlawful, harassing, hateful, defamatory or obscene, or that invades someone else's privacy.
  • Post spam, advertising or promotional links.
  • Post content that infringes someone else's intellectual property.
  • Try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its accounts or its systems, or interfere with how the site runs.
  • Get around safeguards such as rate limits or sign-in.
  • Copy the site in bulk, for example by scraping it, without our written permission.

Moderation and suspension

We may remove any comment, and suspend or block access for anyone who breaks these terms, at our discretion and without notice. You may stop using the site at any time.

Our content

The articles, images, design and code on NyaSis, other than your comments, quotations from judgments and third-party material, belong to NyaSis or its licensors and are protected by copyright.

You may read them, share links to them, and quote short excerpts with credit and a link back. You may not republish full articles or use them commercially without our written permission. To ask, contact us.

Third-party links and services

The site links to judgments and other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Articles are for general information and education only and are not legal, financial, medical or other professional advice. The site is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that its content is complete or accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, NyaSis and its owners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the site. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the current version. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
